We’ve got a packed week ahead, but there are two big events you need to get prepared for!

🎬 Here’s what you need to know…

⭐ 1. SPORTS DAY COSTUMES

Sports Day this year is all about big screen creativity! Each team will compete not just in games, but also in costume! There’s a prize for the best movie-themed team costume, so start planning now.

Your team colour is included in your camper pack, so include this in your outfit, or just a coloured t-shirt if you’re keeping it simple.

⭐ 2. OSCARS NIGHT OUTFITS

On Friday night, we’re going full Hollywood with our MCYC Oscars Night! Time to shine, this is your red carpet moment!
👗👔 Dress up smart: ballgowns, suits, or anything classy!

Accomodation

For Seniors+ this year we’re looking at allocating accomodation a little differently.

Male campers will be staying in the tents – on arrival campers will choose their tents and settle in, they will need to come and sign up their tent with one of the admin team. Male campers will have access to tents 2-5 (green) or 9-12 (white) – maximum occupancy is 6 people.

Female campers will be staying in the chalets – on arrival campers will be directed to their team pod, choose their rooms and settle in. They will need to come and sign up their room with one of the admin team. Female campers will have access to rooms 2, 4 & 5 in their respective chalet – two of these are maximum occupancy 6 people and one is 4 people.

We’re really looking forward to the Spiritual Programme for the week and we’ll post different bits from the week here for you to access.

BEFORE CAMP

In the days leading up to camp, have a read or listen to the verses below and see what God says to you. The running doesn’t start at camp – it starts now! And by the time you get to camp, you might already be running to win. And if not, we pray by the end of our week together, you will be.

Saturday: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Sunday: Genesis 27:41-44 / Genesis 33:1-4

Monday: Luke 15:11-32

Tuesday: Genesis 39:1-12 / 2 Samuel 11:1-4
